The UCSF Clinical & Translational Science Institute provides infrastructure, services and training to UCSF researchers and affiliates, enabling research to be conducted more efficiently, effectively and in new ways. 

Our programs enhance UCSF’s digital innovation making EHR data more accessible and usable for research; providing investigators with research advice and consults;  accelerated regulatory approval processes; clinical trial protocols and infrastructure; and platforms that enable open collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
